This 1860's Antique French Louis XV-style foot stool is in remarkable condition. The carved wood frame is finished in a pale grey and off-white color combination with a distressed finish. The ornate frame is adorned with acanthus leaves, floral, and scroll work details. The scallop bottom edge compliments the designs of the leaves and carved crest in the center. The seat has recently been professionally upholstered in an ivory Belgium linen fabric with double piping trim edges. This footstool is sturdy, stylish, and ready to be used in any home for years to come.
