The form of this stoneware pitcher, sculpted by an artisan in Sri Lanka, was based on a piece from an early twentieth century Belgian basin set, found at a favorite market in Paris. Its simplified classicism, expressed in facets and grand curves, conveys a modernist ethos, and its generous proportions give it presence while serving drinks, holding flowers, or standing proud on the mantel. Holds approximately 100 ounces. To preserve the beauty of this product hand wash is recommended.
