Bamboo has long been a symbol of virtue and according to Chinese folklore, it reflects people's souls and emotions. This natural shaped bamboo motif Salk mirror is formed from cast iron through the use of lost wax castings. The bamboo stalks carry a bronze finish with slight golden accents on the raised and relief areas with antique brass finish on the leaves, as the leaves would grow in nature on the bamboo stalks. The leaves seems to "travel" around the frame, starting from one side and point and ending on the other side and point of the mirror. Mirror hangs with a simple keyhole hanger.
