Sunnylands: American Midcentury Masterpeice books
With its pastel green and yellow interior, its dazzling collection of Impressionist paintings, and long, low sofas that look like vintage Cadillac convertibles, Sunnylands was a Versailles for the Space Age. In Palm Springs, the mecca of midcentury modern architecture, this immaculately preserved estate is considered the undisputed masterpiece, envisioned by A. Quincy Jones, one of California’s most important architects, and furnished by California’s great decorator-to-the-stars, William Haines. Built by media moguls, art collectors, and diplomats Walter and Leonore Annenberg, Sunnylands became a seat of power where politicians, movie stars, and corporate leaders could meet, relax, reflect, make deals, and run the world—all with nobody watching. For four decades, an invitation to New Year’s Eve at Sunnylands was the ultimate social prize. Exquisitely illustrated, Sunnylands is a must-have for every fan of midcentury design.

About The Shop
The Wonder Room is a shopping experience unlike any other. Located in an industrial warehouse in West Side Costa Mesa, the Wonder Room features a unique blend of vintage and antique furnishings mixed with luxury home goods, including pillows, lighting, rugs and accessories. The Wonder Room was a natural outgrowth of our staging business, where we seek out and acquire one-of-a-kind pieces best suited to the architecture and style of a home. As our inventory grew, we wondered how to make some of our finds available to the public. Opening a retail store seemed the logical next step in the evolution of Tiffany Hunter Home. From a French settee used to stage a $13 million Italianate estate to a pair of midcentury slipper chairs recovered in a contemporary fabric, our inventory is constantly changing. Please stop by and see what we have to offer. You will always wonder what you might find. We are open Monday thru Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
